Award of RESAS/010/20 – Unit Heads Development Project

Tender description

Introduction 1. As part of our directorate leadership development programme for Band C staff, we are developing a project for unit heads (12 x C2s) to support them to better lead and manage their teams and deliver the directorate’s priority activities. Background & Context 2. Environment & Forestry Directorate is delivering work to support the directorate’s leaders at Band C. All Band C staff undertook 360° feedback earlier in the year. A group report for the C2 cohort showed that there is a need for focussed development work with this group of (12) staff in the context of Covid-19, EU exit and an ambitious programme of work to contribute to the green recovery and climate change mitigation. The components of the project are: a session on leadership theory and individual coaching sessions x 3 for each unit head, building on their earlier 360° feedback.
