<p>PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. IT IS NOT A TENDER PROCESS. Buckinghamshire Council (the Council) is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise prior to tendering for services for the Alternative Education Provision (AEP). Suppliers are invited to participate in this exercise by completing the attached questionnaire. This will help the Council understand the market. The information obtained from this exercise may be used to inform the Council&rsquo;s approach to the procurement process it undertakes for the delivery of these services. As such, this notice does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement process and does not constitute commitment to undertake a procurement exercise. In the event that the Council decides to commence a formal procurement exercise a separate Contract Notice will be issued. Alternative Education Provision (AEP) is education arranged by Local Authorities for children and young people of statutory school age who, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons would not otherwise receive suitable education. AEP has the potential to transform a child&rsquo;s life chances. Buckinghamshire Council is, therefore, committed to ensuring that all our children and young people receive high quality alternative provision to meet their individual needs.
