Hackney Council is seeking an experienced contractor with extensive specialist expertise in the refurbishment and extension of Listed Buildings, construction of new buildings and of landscaping Listed and historic parks and gardens. The Abney Park Restoration Project will secure the future of Abney Park, the magnificent Victorian Cemetery in Hackney, London. By restoring the historic buildings on site, improving accessibility and developing a vibrant programme of activities, the project will change Abney Park from being underused, neglected and at risk of becoming a ruin, to a well-loved and well-used green space. This tender for Abney Park Restoration Restoration Project - Construction Contract is a Restricted Tender and being carried out in two stages. Stage 1 - Bidders are firstly required to complete and submit response to the Selection Questionnaire (SQ). Stage 2 - Only the suppliers who have passed the initial Selection Questionnaire (SQ) stage will be invited to submit a response to an Invitation to Tender (ITT). The Council anticipates that top 6 highest scoring bidders at the SQ stage will be shortlisted through to the ITT stage.
