Tender description

This PIN is being issued to inform the marketplace that Essex County Council (the Authority) is currently looking at the longer-term options for the ongoing provision of a Social Care Platform Program (SCPP) for Adults, Children and Finance. Our current Social Care Case Management (SCCM) contract will expire in July 2021, and it is planned to implement a short-term, interim contract from this date to permit a period of time for the Authority to refine its system scope and requirements, for a longer-term contractual arrangement. The Authority’s ambition is for change, we are looking at digital partnerships with future suppliers and moving away from services being procured as like for like. We are open to exploring the market to identify technology providers who may not currently be active in the social care case management system market but who do have both the capability and desire to work alongside a local authority as a system development partner. We are seeking discussion with those organisations with sufficient development and technology infrastructure to build and deliver a high quality, secure and user friendly system that harnesses the best that technology offers to digitally enable our social workers and the citizens of Essex in the social services arena.
