Tender description

Contractors are invited to tender for the refurbishment works, including internal alterations at 45 Sraid Doiminic, Gaillimh (protected structure). The proposed works consist of refurbishing the existing roof, internal alterations, upgrading of sanitary facilities, replacement of existing suspended floors, upgrading of fire alarm and emergency lighting, provision of external shelter, external paths and paving, etc. For the purpose of tendering it is paramount that the tendering contractor has resources suitably qualified in the area of conservation and is in a position to commence works on site immediately following appointment, and moreover having such resources available to meet the pertinent handover dates. However, given the public nature of the funding, it is important to note that final approval thereof will ultimately be a prerequisite to proceeding with the subject works. Infection Control / COVID 19 - The PSCS / Contractor shall prepare a H&S statement demonstrating measures that will be put in place to ensure that works can be carried out in accordance CIF Standard Operating Procedures as well as confirming measures to be taken to monitor these processes.
