Provision of Management, platform hosting and delivery of virtual events

Tender description

The objective of this Request for Tender is to invite suitably qualified service providers to tender for the provision of Virtual Online Event Services for the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. 1.2 The Services comprise of the management, platform hosting and delivery of two virtual events in 2021 for SEAI, specifically the SEAI Energy Show and the annual national Public Sector conference. The SEAI Energy Show: This is an annual business to business event which has been operating as an in-person event for over 17 years. Traditionally, the event brings together suppliers of sustainable energy solutions in an exhibition format, accompanied by a content programme of seminars, workshops, briefings, technology best practice demonstrations and networking opportunities. In 2019, at the last Energy Show, over 4,000 energy users from commercial, industrial and public sectors attender over the two days of Show to learn more about energy efficiency and renewable energy. For the purpose of this tender, the Show will move to an online format in 2021 focusing solely on the content programme of the Show (no exhibition). The intended delivery dates for the Show is end of March/April 2021. The National Public Sector Conference 2021 will be the fourth year for the annual Public Sector Conference. In 2020 the event brought together up to 800 representatives from public bodies together at a one-day in-person conference to progress action towards public sector energy saving targets. In 2021, the event will move to an online format consisting of plenary and breakout sessions to be delivered in May. It is envisaged that the successful tenderer will propose one online platform that can be used for both of the above events.
