Printing: printing of ballot papers for in person voting Printing and mailing of postal ballot packs Printing and mailing of poll cards Transport: in the polling station premises the elections provision requires: Transportation of equipment for polling boxes and count venues Polling booths delivered and collected in a timely manner Elections timetable 2021 – Police and Crime Commissioner’s and Cornwall Unitary Town and Parish Elections 2022 – No planned election (potential unplanned) 2023 – No planned election (potential unplanned) 2024 — National general election/Police and Crime Commissioner 2025 — Unitary, Town and Parish Elections. The electoral services team have a statutory duty to produce a variety of print documents for each poll. UK Parliamentary, Unitary, Town and Parish Elections, Business Improvement district ballots, Neighbourhood Planning Referendums, Parish Polls, as well as the Police and Crime Commissioners election. We are looking at a print contract to produce the following for all polls: Poll Cards, Postal Packs, Ballot Papers. None of this will be split. The contract will last for 3 years with the option to extend by a year each time, for the following 2 years. The data provided will be personal and we expect the supplier to have followed all of the statutory GDP Regulations. Lorries and drivers are required by the electoral services team to move paperwork and equipment between various office and storage locations within Cornwall, and to and from the count centre(s). The service is generally required in the last two weeks before election day. This contract is known as transport services (1). There is also a contract for transport services (2), which provides for the delivery and collection of polling booths to/from polling stations, and the transportation of ballot boxes from a number of hubs across Cornwall to the count centre(s). Providers can quote for either or both of these contracts. The contract will last for 3 years with the option to extend by a year each time, for the following 2 years. The provider will need to collect and deliver to stated times and dates, taking care of the equipment and documentation that they carry. The provider will need to ascertain the right size and type of vehicle and how many personnel are required. Some paperwork will be sensitive and we expect due care to be taken with this. Cornwall Council electoral services manage the organisation and conduct of all elections and referendums in Cornwall. Electoral Services require an external provider to: (a) deliver and collect polling screens and signage to and from polling stations; (b) transport ballot boxes from approximately 14 hub locations around the county to up to three count locations on election night; (c) transport postal votes from office location to count location; (d) transport wheelie bins and sacks from count location(s) to stores. This contract is known as transport services (2). There is also a contract for transport services (1), which provides for the transportation of stationery and equipment between Council offices and stores in the two weeks prior to election day. Providers can quote for either or both of these contracts. This contract will last for 3 years with the option to extend by a year each time, for the following 2 years. The provider will need to collect and deliver to stated times and dates, taking care of the goods and equipment they carry. The provider will need to ascertain the right size and type of vehicle and how many personnel may be required. Some paperwork will be sensitive and we expect due care to be taken with this.
