L and Q wishes to appoint a single service provider to provide high quality, safe and secure emergency and temporary accommodation to accommodate individual and/or groups of residents from culturally and ethnically diverse households for short and longer term lets. The accommodation required must be within the agreed geographical area and shall be required within ‘business hours’ and ‘out of hours’. The type of accommodation required will vary depending on the needs of the user(s) and shall require the service provider to be able of accommodating group or individual Households with disabled/vulnerable residents, with children, the elderly and pets. The service provider shall source suitable accommodation for displaced individuals and groups in accordance with this agreement and subsequent requests (‘Booking Requests’) made by L and Q’s representative(s). The full scope of the Service required shall consist of the following core provisions: • provision of temporary and emergency accommodation for individuals during business hours; provision of temporary and emergency accommodation for groups during business hours; • provision of temporary and emergency accommodation for individuals out of hours; and • provision of temporary and emergency accommodation for groups out of hours. The service provider shall source suitable accommodation for displaced individuals and groups in accordance with this agreement and subsequent requests (‘Booking Requests’) made by L and Q’s representative(s).
