Tender description

This project for Glencorrib Group Water Scheme involves the upgrade of approximately 4.8km of the existing distribution main in 4 separate locations around the scheme with new 63mm OD Polyethylene SDR 11 PE80 grade pipe, Area 1 – 2,807m, Area 2 – 710m, Area 3 – 411m and Area 6 – 905m. The mains will be laid in excavated trenches and will be a combination of 224m in verge, road and set back areas and 4,599m in fields The mains installation works also include the installation of all Sluice valves, Scour Valves, Air Valves and Bulk Meters to the new water mains with all new pipelines pressure tested and sterilized. The works also include for the installation of approximately 1,700m of service pipes for the transfer and connection of existing consumers to the new mains.
