Tender description

Health Education England (HEE — the Commissioner) are issuing this prior information notice to make the market aware of a future tendering opportunity. HEE currently commissions Internship and pre-doctoral bridging programme training places from two London-based HEIs and post-doctoral bridging places from a third London-based HEI. Health Education England intends to commence a new procurement in January 2021 for the delivery of an Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) Awards programme (to include three lots for Internships, Pre-Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Bridging Programmes) for healthcare professionals (excluding doctors and dentists) who wish to develop careers that combine clinical research, research leadership with continued clinical practice and clinical development. It is intended to procure an integrated suite of internship, pre-doctoral and post-doctoral bridging fellowship places for an initial period of 3 academic years. The tender response window will run from early January to 1 March 2021. Contracts will be awarded in May 2021 for commencement of services in Autumn 2021. Please note, that although responses/formal expressions of interests are not required at this stage, should interested parties have concerns over the above then please do contact the procurement lead prior to 20 December 2020 at midnight.
