Development and Delivery of Eden District Council's Art and Culture Programme

<p>Eden District Council is seeking bids from suitably qualified and experienced individuals, consortiums or organisations to take our creative commissioning to the next level, so that arts and culture can genuinely transform communities and lives in Eden. The Council sees its role as one of leading and convening in the area of arts and culture, working closely with a range of existing organisations and encouraging our residents to get involved in all that is on offer in the sector and at the same time helping to create new and innovative opportunities. Through developing and delivering an Art Programme for the District, we feel we can enable a co-ordinated approach to support the local creative economy across all relevant public and private sector stakeholders which we hope can generate a multitude of health, social and economic benefits. As well as raising levels of ambition, aligning investment and resource towards common goals, we want to ensure that the local creative and cultural offering is closely reflecting what our local communities want, need and deserve.</p> Keywords: Arts, Culture, Community
