Tender description

The NTA is collaborating with Clare County Council to install new and upgrade existing shelters. The NTA have assessed and approved the new and existing locations. The new bus shelters are located at Kilkee, Lisdoonvarna, Crusheen, Newmarket, Radisson Blu Ennis Road Limerick and Westbury. The replacement bus shelters are located in Shannon at Ballycasey Cross, Oakwood arms, opposite Oakwood Arms, Drumgeeley and Fergus Roundabout. The works include the excavation and installation of foundations of the Reliance bus shelter. The installation of 2 100mm ducts for electrical supply. JCDecaux (NTA bus shelter contractor) liaises with the civils contractor to install the shelters above the steel cage footing which is provided by JCDecaux when the concrete is being cast, by the civils contractor. The main contractor shall liaise and assist JCDecaux with the installation of the foundation jig as required. After shelter installation is completed, pavement reinstatement up to finished ground level to be completed as detailed on contract drawings.
