Body-repair services for vehicles

Tender description

The Council wishes to enter into a framework agreement with suitable contractors for bodywork and mechanical repair of its vehicles, resulting from accidents or other incidents. The framework will consist of two lots: Lot 1 – Cars and light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes GVW. Lot 2 — Heavy commercial vehicles over 7.5 tonnes GVW. The Council operates a fleet of light commercial vehicles, minibuses and cars in excess of 2000, of which approximately 100 are minibuses. The fleet of heavy commercial vehicles includes dustcarts, gritters, fire engines, coaches, and trucks and numbers approximately 400 vehicles.
