Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to address the consolidated battery requirements across the GLAs, with the aim of establishing a 4-year framework agreement for the supply of Lead-Acid, GEL (VRLA) and AGM (VRLA) batteries to the GLAs, including all specified battery interconnections and lifting boxes, as required. The framework agreement will also address battery preparation services, in order to ensure that the maximum performance of the batteries is achieved. Item 1.1: Maintenance-free lead crystal battery for Type 1 and 2 Navigational Buoys. Item 1.2: Maintenance-free motive power gel battery for Type 2 Navigational Buoys. This lot represents typical Trinity House Lighthouse battery requirements.
