ONS intends to extend the current contract in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(b) of the PCR. There will be no changes to the way in which the contract is operated/the scope of the services and therefore the proposed extension will simply involve an extension to the existing services provided by BT. ONS intends to use this time to fully understand its requirements post Census and post Covid issues currently being experienced.
