Web Design and Development for a Climate Action Hub

Tender description

Web Design and Development Services to create a Climate Action ‘Hub’ for the enterprise sector is required under this tender. The Hub will be a 'one-stop shop' for decarbonisation for SMEs and will enable them to start their decarbonisation journey. The Hub will ask users for a series of data points about their business, including sector, size, energy use, waste disposal, water use, and transport. Within/below each of these last four categories, the user will be asked to provide 1 – 6 key metrics on their resource use, in response to specific questions. Using the data points provided, even if incomplete, the Hub will; 1. calculate an estimated carbon emissions calculation for the user, and; 2. present the user with a series of recommended actions which they can take to reduce this carbon footprint – many of these actions will include a relevant weblink to further details/supports. Functionality for users to print, email and retrieve results at a later point is also required for the Hub. The Successful Tenderer will be required to provide a full design concept of the Hub based on the functionality brief within the Reference for Tender, including an indicative delivery timeline with key milestones. It is also required that the tenderer propose a suitable content management system and develop a logo and the overall branding of the Hub. Development of the website and tools, testing and a published live website are required under the tender. Hosting and maintenance of the website for three years after the launch date is also required.
