Tender description
The 3D Printer should be compatible with a range of biocompatible and synthetic materials and bioinks (e.g. thermosetting polymers, hydrogels, cell suspensions, methacrylated collagen etc). An ability to UV crosslink printed materials at a variety of wavelengths is preferable. The temperature of the print shelf/bed should be adjustable. Multiple extruder system is required – minimum 3 extruders/print heads. Extruder temperature should be adjustable if possible. High resolution (1μm) printing in X, Y and Z directions is necessary for the fabrication of constructs with homogenous pores and internal channels with high dimensional accuracy. A high degree of control over environmental control regarding sterility is viewed as a key component. Any computer and software needed should be quoted as part of the system. Price of freight, installation, and user training should also be included in the price quoted.
