Third Party Pension Administration Services

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF) is one of London's leading councils. We aim to be the best. We are radically reforming the council to modernise the way services are run and ensure we provide good value for money. Being ruthlessly financially efficient is one of our key priorities. Our Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) caters for around 15,300 members (split between c. 4,000 active members; c. 6,000 deferred members; and c. 5,300 pensioner members) and includes council employees as well as around 50 admitted bodies. The LBHF require support from a third party pension administration firm to undertake backlog services relating to frozen refund, refund, deferred members and aggregated cases. Surrey County Council (SCC) provide pension administration services to LBHF through a shared service agreement. As such, the chosen provider will need to work closely with SCC and be familiar with the Altair administration system.
