Tender description

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has requested that Vodafone continue to supply telephony services on a monthly basis for up to a maximum of 12 months. The contract was originally let by Department of Energy and Climate Change in March 2015 under a Crown Commercial Service Framework Agreement, reference RM1498, commencing services on the 21 November 2015 for 5 years to 20 November 2020. The Department of Energy and Climate Change became the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy under a machinery of Government change. The procurement is for provision of data and phone services for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department of International Trade. The current contract with Vodafone will be extended beyond November 2020 on a monthly basis up to a maximum of 12 months whilst a new service is being procured. The requirements are for provision of the supply of the phone connection and data services. A contact centre provides support for up to 7 000 users from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and up to 2 500 users for the Department of International Trade.
