Tender description

Currently managed by Nviro the School is placing their cleaning services to competitive tender and are inviting professional cleaning organisations to bid for the contract with the intention of awarding the contract following due process by 11 February 2021 with a contract start date of 1 April 2020. Total pupil numbers: 2 462 Total staff numbers: 250 Estimated m2: 16 525 See site plans for each building. Evening cleaning: 3-7 p.m. Day touch point cleaning: 9.30-2.30 p.m. Basic objectives: — effective cover for staff absence that is not reliant on extended hours of site cleaners; — the School is keen to ensure the input hours are provided and requires lost hours to be made up in consultation with the supervising officer; — regular visits from the contracts manger who will liaise with the on-site cleaning staff to monitor the quality of the daily cleaning and report to the supervising officer before leaving site; — clearly defined cleaning hours that meet the routine of the School and that are adhered to by all staff (can be different for holiday periods) and around major School events e.g. open evenings; — regular training and development/motivation of staff and effective induction of new staff.
