The Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a waste management company that supports our clean growth action plan. We are currently reviewing how waste is managed at all our sites within West Yorkshire. Currently only 10 % of our waste is classed as clean and is recyclable, however, we aim to increase this and reach a target of 40 % within 3 years. The Combined Authority are seeking to maximise recycling throughout their sites in West Yorkshire. In line with the Combined Authority’s clean growth action plan. We're looking for a new provider to actively work to reduce their carbon footprint on this contract.
