Provision of (i) small molecule chemical coated 96 well microplates and (ii) fluorescently labelled probe coated 96 well microplates.

Tender description

A 96-well microtitre plate which is coated with a range of (not less than 20) small molecule chemical stressors. Each well will be coated with one of the small chemical stressors. The details of the small chemical stressors and the concentrations to be used will form part of a confidential agreement with suppliers who progress to second stage. The envisaged production quantities will be determined in conjunction with the validation plan proposed by the tenderer e.g. Pilot lots and production lots. It is envisaged that the requirement over the first 12 months will be in the region of 8,000 plates. Coating process: Each well of the 96-well plate is coated with a specific concentration of a specific small molecular chemical, control or water. There are multiple, individual small molecule chemicals on each plate. Plates are dried in a suitable drying chamber and then irradiated prior to packaging in single plate foil packs QC release: Plates are sampled in accordance with an agreed QC release protocol for release testing and detailed performance and trending specifications are required to be met before product release. All tenderers are required to have a suitable Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line host in order to test their manufacturing output. The standard Valitacell release test includes incubation of the CHO cell line in the test plate for a period of 3-days under standard incubation conditions and following 3 –days the plate is subject to a standard growth [e.g. Presto Blue] and productivity assay [IgG test]. Validation plan: Tenderers are requested to submit their proposed detailed validation plan for this product and this will contribute to the technical specification score for each proposal.
