Tender description

This is a prior information notice with an intended future call for competition, its purpose is to make the market aware of the CCGs' commissioning plans for this service. The 3 Leicestershire CCG's are preparing to re-commission their Online Counselling Services in the next few weeks as the current contract expires at the end of May 2021. The online counselling service will provide children and young people (C&YP) from the ages 11-18 years old who are experiencing emotional and or mental wellbeing/ mental health issues with direct access to friendly safe information, support and advice , including :- • Easy to use website for information and articles • Chat Counselling • Chat messaging • Live chat forums The objectives and expected outcomes are: • Experience of delivering online counselling and flowing data to the Mental Health Services Dataset (MHSDS) • Deliver an accessible service to the diverse communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, particularly targeting under-represented groups • Supporting integration of online counselling provision within mental health services at a neighbourhood and place-based level. The Contract shall be for a term of three (3) years from the Service start date with the possibility of extending the term by another 24 months beyond the initial contracted term at Commissioners' request. The anticipated contract start date is 1st of June 2021 and the anticipated value is £140k per annum. It is proposed that the terms and conditions of all the services, will reflect those contained in the NHS England Standard NHS Contract. The service will be commissioned via an open type procurement process advertised to all providers which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract. Please note that it is intended that another advert and Invitation to Tender (ITT) will be published in late December 2020. We recommend any current providers of similar services, providers who may be interested in providing this service in the future, or other stakeholders who may have an interest in providing this service, to register on Contracts Finder and on the MLCSU eProcurement portal Jaggaer/Bravo for alerts.
