Tender description
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and support of a Dynamic Rotational Shear Rheometer with a UV curing. A Rotational Shear Rheometer which measures liquid viscosity is required. Accessories required as part of this tender include UV Curing unit, Friction Testing Unit, and either Mercury lamp light guide or LED light guide. The Dynamic Rotational Shear Rheometer will be one of the first of its kind in an academic location. Other academics have Rheometers, but they do not have high temperature, UV curing and friction for the fields of teaching & training as well as research & development in one location. This will also open the door to new markets, such as aerospace and replacement of metal parts by Irish companies. The machine will be housed in the APT building which is a part of the Athlone IT main campus.
