Tender description

This notice is for information only and is not the commencement of a procurement process. A framework for supported living is being tendered by West Sussex County Council in 2021. It is anticipated that the tender pack will be published in January 2021 which will include the Council's full requirements. This is a tender for a new supported living framework which will support people with lifelong disabilities (includes learning disabilities and/or autism) and mental health conditions to have community-based support and accommodation services. The framework will support customers to live fulfilled and rich lives in their own homes in their chosen community, including supporting people into the community from in-patient or long-term institutional settings. It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1 August 2021 for an initial period of 4 years with the option to extend for a further period of 4 years. Both current and new entrants to the market are encouraged to join the new framework. Given the pressures and challenges faced by all of addressing Covid-19, the tender has been extended by 12-weeks available for bidders to respond by 31 March 2021. Applications to join the framework will be made under three lots as follows: • Lot 1: Outreach Support Services where care/support is delivered, and accommodation is not part of the service; • Lot 2: Supported Living Services where the care is shared between the people living there; this can include 24-hour care, and is delivered in an accommodation-based service; • Lot 3: Supported Living Services where a more intensive and specialist level of care/support is delivered. We are particularly keen to receive bids from organisations who are able to deliver outreach support to people living in the community; especially those people with mental health support needs.
