<p>Copeland Borough Council are looking to appoint suitable consultants to prepare an Employment Land Availability Study (ELAS) for the Local Authority of Copeland (excluding the parts which lie within the Lake District National Park Authority). The overarching aim of the ELAS is to provide the Council with an assessment of employment land (Use Classes E (business) B2 and B8, as amended and updated in the new Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020) to identify a future supply of land for economic development that is suitable, available and achievable to support the projected needs for the plan period to 2035.&nbsp;</p> <p>Further details are provided in the Invitation to Tender documents which will be made available upon registering an interest in this opportunity via The Chest Procurement Portal.&nbsp; All correspondence, clarifications and submissions must be made via The Chest.
