<p>Copeland Borough Council is looking for suitable consultants to prepare an Economic Development Needs Assessment (EDNA) for the Local Authority of Copeland (excluding the parts which lie within the Lake District National Park Authority). The overarching aims of the EDNA is to provide the Council with an up to date understanding of current and potential future requirements of employment land (Use Classes B2 B8 and E and other economic uses (excluding retail Use Classes E, Sui Generis), as amended and updated in the new Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) (Amendment) (England) Regulations September 2020 for the Borough so that it can be planned for through the new Local Plan (2017 -2035).&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Further details are provided in the Invitation to Tender documents which will be made available upon registering an interest in this opportunity via The Chest Procurement Portal.&nbsp; All correspondence, clarifications and submissions must be made via The Chest.
