Tender description

New Gorbals Housing Association (NGHA) wish to award a framework agreement for the provision of clerk of works services. The framework will be tendered as a single lot with a maximum of three providers appointed to the framework. The framework term is an initial period of 36 months with the option of one further 12-month extension period which may be exercised wholly at the discretion of NGHA. This procurement exercise relates to the procurement of a multi supplier framework agreement for clerk of works services – various housing projects. The authority intends to appoint up to 3 suppliers to the framework agreement. The provision of clerk of works services associated with the construction of housing including, but not limited to, the following areas: — site inspection service including: — compliance of the works with the contract documents; — compliance of the works with established good practice; — checking of materials on site to ensure compliance with the specification; — monitoring site activity and construction progress; — recording and reporting on construction quality and site activities; — making recommendations to the client regarding the works as required.
