Hackney Council wishes, by publishing this prior information notice, to alert relevant economic operators about a future procurement opportunity in the Outdoor Advertising 'Street Furniture' industry. The Council also wishes to use the opportunity to start consultations with these operators as detailed further below. An engagement questionnaire shall be provided within 48 hours of publication of this PIN with details on how to access the questionnaire as well as the deadline by which response should be submitted. Hackney Council, by this notice wishes to engage with economic operators in the Outdoor Advertising Infrastructure, i.e. 'Street Furniture' markets and supply chains. The aim of this engagement is to gain a better understanding of the new opportunities in these markets, and the perspectives of these operators, so as to better align future procurement approaches and expectations with current supplier capabilities, capacities and interest, including new technologies, so as to ultimately improve outcomes for both operators and the Council. The engagement shall take place via the Council's procurement portal, www.procontract.due-north.com. Organisations wishing to participate in this exercise are required to register on the Portal where they may access and complete the online questionnaire created for this purpose. All information provided in this notice is approximate at this stage and may change depending on feedback received from this engagement exercise and ongoing stakeholder consultations.
