Tender description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of 2021/22 Supplementary Training of Pre-registration/Foundation Year 1 Pharmacist Trainees - Health Education England across the North. HEE is seeking to engage providers to deliver supplementary training for pharmacist trainees during their pre-registration training. Currently known as the 'pre-registration year', this will be replaced by a foundation year in line with reforms recently announced by NHSE&I and HEE. This supplementary training aims to equip trainees with the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours to enter the clinical workforce. The delivery will be over two Lots, providers may apply for one or both Lots. Lot 1 - North West Lot 2 - North East and Yorkshire The initial programme period of one year will be a maximum contract value of: Lot 1 -£144,000 exclusive of VAT. Lot 2 - £255,600 exclusive of VAT. The Authority retains the option to extend the contracts by up to a further 1 year period. There will be one contract for each Lot. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is Friday 18 December 2020 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted. The e-portal system will shutdown at 12:00pm and any un-submitted bids not registered to the system at this time will not be accepted. Therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
