Tender description

(a) The requirement is for the supply, delivery and install to the Department of Defence (Defence Forces), of new, Equine Aqua Treadmill. (b) Delivery will be to the Officer in Charge, The Army Equitation School, Mc Kee Bks, Blackhorse Ave, Dublin 7, Ireland. (c) Delivery terms (Incoterms) delivered to the above address, DDP (delivered duty paid). (d) Equipment supplied under this contract must be of proven reliability and must meet or surpass all Irish and EU regulations and standards pertaining to such products. (e) The technical information for the treadmill offered must be included with the tender Presentation. (f) The treadmill supplied under this contract must be new and previously unused. (g) During the evaluation stage, shortlisted suppliers will each be requested to have available a similar treadmill for rigorous technical examination and end user testing to ensure that the proposed treadmill meets the requirements of the Defence Forces. Failure to meet this requirement may result in elimination from the competition. (h) The Specification below Must be filled out and Signed and then returned with the tender presentation. (i) Spare parts for the treadmill offered must be available for the life time of the treadmill i.e. twenty years after receipt of treadmill. (j) The Defence Forces operates an Energy Management System that is internationally benchmarked to ISO 50001. The Army Equitation School fully supports the purchase of energy efficient products and services that impact energy performance and supports design activities that consider energy performance improvements.
