Supplementary Provider List (Home Based Care and Support Services)

Tender description

This project was a further competition procedure under the dynamic purchasing system "Dynamic Provider List - Home Based Care and Support Service", project reference DN176188 run in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and was a 'Light Touch Procurement' for 'social and other specific services'. The Council had previously tendered and contracted for a Lead Provider and a number of Additional Providers for each of 6 geographically based Lots and has now established a list of "Supplementary Providers" within each area to support the existing structure. The Lead Provider and Additional Providers are expected to pick-up the majority of referrals and the Supplementary Provider List will supply extra capacity, ensuring that all Referrals are responded to quickly and positively. When required, packages of care will be offered to Supplementary Providers on the List based on their ranked order position within their specific area.
