Route Map to Carbon Zero by 2030

Tender description

North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) declared a climate emergency in October 2019. As part of the declaration the Trust adopted a goal of carbon neutrality by 2030, in line with the Bristol One City Plan and other civic partners. The Trust has identified some areas of potential carbon reduction across all areas of emissions but it lacks the in-house expertise and capacity to identify all potential projects, the timescales for each one and the priorities to achieve carbon net zero by 2030. The Trust seeks to procure a consultancy to produce an analysis of its current carbon position, a future carbon forecast and a strategy and action plan on how it can reach net zero carbon emissions by 2030. The key outcomes will involve a series of reports, recommendations and evidence-based strategies to reach the NBT carbon 2030 goal.
