Replacement of Air Conditioning

Tender description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys seeks to appoint a suitable qualified specialist provider for the replacement and upgrade of Air Conditioning equipment. The project involves the replacement of existing and installation of new air conditioning equipment and associated builders works at the Police Headquarters in Llangunnor, Carmarthen. As an overview the services to be provided will be the decommissioning, removal and disposal of the existing redundant floor mounted air conditioning units with supply & installation of a new along with the supply and installation of new ceiling mounted air conditioning units which meet the criteria depicted in the Building Services Specification. The appointed contractor will be bound to adhere to the protocol for safe systems of working and all staff involved with the site works will need to go through a Police Vetting procedure prior to the contract commencing. The work area will be under the control of the appointed contractor and as such it will be kept in a clean & tidy condition during the works and at handover. The new equipment is to benefit from a 12 months Defects Liability Period, which will be administered by the use of a NEC 3 Contract. At completion, Commissioning and Test Certificates, a Health & Safety file and staff training are to be provided in accordance with the Building Services Specification.
