Tender description

This contract is for the provision of Gas Detection and Gas Controls Maintenance Services to Queen’s University Belfast. The scope of this contract includes the following: • Planned preventative maintenance • Reactive maintenance - repairs and a 24 hour call out service • End of life sensor cell replacement • Sensor upgrading and replacement • Supply, installation and commissioning of gas controls systems. Throughout the campus, there are currently 94 boiler house and kitchen gas detection systems, 255 lab gas detection systems, 20 gas isolation systems and we estimate approximately 1 500 sensor cells will need to be replaced over the course of the 5 year contract (including options). It should be noted that the contract is primarily for the provision of both planned and reactive maintenance. Major and Minor projects carry out new installations and refurbishments where the provision for gas detection may be tendered separately.
