Tender description

GWR is looking to purchase twenty (20) Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) to be installed at various stations on its rail network by late 2021. GWR is looking for expressions of interest from parties that can supply these devices and maintain them in line with railway accredited industry standards. — GWR requires the TVMs to be capable of both ticket retailing and collection functionality in the National Rail environment; — these TVMs shall as a minimum be capable of ticket fulfilment to ITSO and Mag-Stripe; — the interested parties will need to ensure they can integrate with GWR’s Rail Delivery Group (RDG) supplied Central Back Office (CBO) and other National Rail systems; — the devices once installed may be exposed to the elements and will need to be capable of operating in varying environmental conditions that can be experienced in the UK; — the TVMs will offer customer friendly user interface in line with RDG mandates and guidelines and will be fully compliant with the relevant Equality Acts.
