Institute of Technology Carlow - Term Maintenance & Refurbishment Contract Framework

Tender description

The Contracting Authority intend to form separate multi-supplier frameworks for small building works contractor and electrical contractor. The multi-supplier term contract will typically comprise maintenance and refurbishment works which individually are not envisaged to be greater in value than €40,000. Works in value greater than €40,000 will be awarded through a competition to all framework members. The yearly value of works on: 1. The Building Works is not expected to be greater than €250,000 2. Electrical Works is not expected to be greater than €300,000. The term maintenance and refurbishment contract framework will be ad-hoc / maintenance / refurbishment type projects. They will also include emergency type projects and require a response time of 2 hours. The extent and scope of works will fulfil the requirements of ITC as they arise and will be agreed on an ongoing basis and executed subject to the issue of the relevant appointment documentation. The works will typically take place in Institute of Technology Carlow, Killkenny Road, Carlow and from time to time on the Wexford and Wicklow Campuses. The duration of the respective frameworks will be 4 years with the option of an extension for an additional year.
