Tender description

East Lothian Council intends to appoint a provider of Community Health and Wellbeing Support Services for children, young people and their families. The procurement will be in relation to the funding made available by the Scottish Government to the local authority in relation to the community mental health and wellbeing supports and services framework. The support and services offered through this new arrangement will deliver preventative and/or early action for those in the 5-24 (26 if care experienced) age range. It is envisaged that the Service will include the following elements: Support at the ‘additional ‘ level of East Lothian’s Child’s Planning Framework Targeting of ‘at risk’ and excluded groups with a focus on mental and emotional distress and wellbeing. Development of links into existing services provided by education, health, social care and the third sector, including strong links with CAMHS. Provision that contributes to a whole system approach that operates year round and out of hours.
