Tender description

A framework for care at home services in addition to the one concluded in July 2020. The Council is looking for experienced, effective and dynamic prime providers to join its second framework across our nine care communities. The Council is creating a second flexible framework supplementing the one established in July 2020 which will deliver a minority of services. Prime providers will deliver the majority of services. The framework may also act as an incubator for possible prime providers who could be promoted to 1 or more care communities throughout the lifetime of the framework. Cheshire CCG may be able to use the framework at a later date depending on the development of integrated working arrangements with the Council and health partners. The Council is operating this procurement under the light touch regime for social and other specific services, asset out in the PCR 2015, at Section 7 (Regulations 74 to 77) and Schedule 3. The Council intends to exercise the full flexibility granted therein to operate the tender and any resulting framework. Value of the flexible framework 2 may be c GBP 8 000 000.
