Summary of the work supporting Trusts with restructuring of ICT / Informatics / Digital teams Developing digital Stratergies Help on key contracts with existing suppliers, including with Cerner for their EPR Requirements is to support the Trust in going out for procurements developing business cases for strategic digital solutions carry out strategic reviews Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length 18 Months Maximum Latest start date Sunday 15 November 2020 Maximum Day Rate £650 Who Speclialist Work With Chief Information Offier and wider IT team, Project officers, Procurement, Finance. What Specialists Work On Provide advice analysis and support to the Chief Information Officer of Univeristy Hospital Lewisham in relation to digitisation and data migration. Helping to manage relationships between key supplier representitives and Trust operatives to smooth out the pace of change and provide a degree of stability as measures are taken to upgrade/maintain key systems. Skills & Experience • Must have knowledge of methodologies for developing requirements to support a Trust in going out to procurement • experience do you have in the procurement of clinical systems for an Acute Trust • experience of developing digital strategies with Trusts, for example, a ‘cloud first’ • experience in supporting Trusts with restructuring of ICT • Can ensure the safe implementation of critical information systems • experience supporting Trusts with implementing EDM and outsourced scanning Nice to Haves • RIS, PACS and VNA Knowledge • Have supported Trusts to recover implementations that are failing Work Location University Hospital Lewisham Working Arrangments Call off arrangment, timesheets submitted in arrears for work commissioned by the CIO, reporting to the CIO No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria • •work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • •have a no-blame culture and encourage people to learn from their mistakes • •can work with clients with low technical expertise • •challenge the status quo • •share knowledge and experience with other team members Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1. Start Date is Listed as befor the Closing date The Origional Brief recived by Procurement was to have a start date no earlier than the 15th of November, it has taken longer to publish the opertunity than antisipated and the earliest start date was not updated.the competition closes as stated 2. is there a current incumbent ? There is no current incumbent 3. Would this role be remote inline with government guidelines or do you require the specialist onsite full/part time? Mix of onsite and remote working required as directed on a week by week baisis 4. Will this role be entirely office based or is there some remote working? Mixed 5. Is this role outside IR35? Aplicants should operate under the assumption the role will fall INSIDE IR35 6. When do you need the commercial analysts to start? Some time after the 18th of November 7. Can you confirm the IR35 answer the role will fall INSIDE IR35 8. Can you confirm if there is an option for this role to be fully remote? Some onsite work is necessitated by this role, their is no option to carry out this role 100% remotly. the exact breakdown of onsite and remote working will be established with the CIO at the Handover stage, and will be adapted to meet buisness needs over time. 9. Are you expecting this to be a full time role, Mon-Fri? exact working hours and work pattern to be agreed with the CIO on identification of a candidate with a suitable skillset. 10. Are you able to work with a nearshore delivery model. 20% onsite/ onshore 80% In the same timezone and within the EU? The exact nature of onsite offsight work is to be agreed with the CIO on a roling baisis, as the needs of the business progress
