WMCA are planning to let a framework agreement for the supply of electric bus chargers and all associated control equipment. The chargers will be expected to operate up to 450 kw and be compliant with the ‘Opp Charge’ specification and protocols to ensure inter-operability with different vehicle manufacturers. The requirements are currently being finalised and the publication date of tender documents has yet to be confirmed.
