Tender description

NHS Dumfries and Galloway (NHSDG) is seeking to appoint a planned preventative and reactive maintenance fire alarm systems contractor to provide these services in respect of planned and reactive works. The key services being sought are fire alarm systems testing planned works, routine maintenance works, and unplanned reactive works/emergency call outs. From time to time and in spite of the controls in place to prevent them, emergency repair or maintenance works may need to be carried out. The contract shall comprise of the inspection, test and certification of the following systems at NHS Dumfries and Galloway sites: 1) Fire alarm system and all associated detection and equipment in line with the requirements of BS5839-1:2017, BS5839-6:2019, BS5839-8:2013; SHTM82. The works indicated above shall enable the client to demonstrate compliance with the relevant sections of the The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 Part 3 and Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
