Tender description

The University has over 4000 bedrooms in 8 sites with a range of twin and single bedrooms, ensuite and standard bedrooms, cluster flats and traditional hall layouts. For the purpose of this contract the University is only looking at one site with the flexibility to include other sites in the future. The University is seeking to engage a contractor to provide some or all of the summer deep cleaning in David Russell Apartments and Fife Park, Buchanan Gardens, St Andrews, KY16 9LY. David Russell Apartments and Fife Park has 1686 bedrooms, in 5-bedroom cluster flats. The site is occupied by a mixture of under graduate (38 week contracts) and post graduate (50 week contracts) students. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite, however, there are 208 rooms which have shared bathrooms and 69 studios.
