<div><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">Sheffield City Council (the Council) currently spends approximately £500,000 per year to provide a City-Wide Carer Service for adult and parent carers. This includes delivering Care Act (2014) section 10 carer’s assessments. The existing service runs until December 2021 so the Council is exploring options for a new City-Wide Carers Service which will begin in January 2022. The estimated contract value of the new service will continue to be £500,000 per year. </span></div> <div><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">Sheffield City Council is conducting this soft market test as precursor to a formal procurement process and approach to the market.
