Tender description

The scope of services to be supplied under the framework shall comprise, but not limited to, the following elements: • Lot 1 — Planning and Control Services • Lot 2 — Document Control Services • Lot 3 — Risk and Value Management Services • Lot 4 – Project Integration Planning Services Reporting and meeting requirements for the above four Lots: A periodic meeting will be required with the managed service framework contractors, to discuss items including but not limited to: • allocation of resources to projects; • identification of ‘best fit’ for resources with reference to experience and skillset; • progress of works against allocated projects; • value added activity from service; • pipeline projects including upcoming anticipated direct awards and mini-tenders. Provide a planning management service for NW&C capital delivery ensuring this is delivered to relevant Network Rail and third party client processes. Provision of a Document Management Service, responsible to the project team for the maintenance and delivery of the Document Management System. Ensuring information is correctly stored, managed and distributed to the project team and other stakeholders. Establishing and maintaining protocols arounds the systems and administering levels of security and coherence as required. Provision of risk and value service, responsible to the project team for the maintenance of risk registers and the Active Risk Manager (ARM) database. Also responsible for coordinating Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QRSA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) activities as required by the schedule across the portfolio of projects. Ensuring information is accurately captured, processed, analysed and reports and actions distributed and followed up on as appropriate. Provision of an 'Integrated Planning' service, to fully integrate works on multi-disciplinary projects and coordinate programme of work, including testing and commissioning requirements where applicable, between Network Rail, it's principal contractor, and subcontractors.
