Tender description
Argyll and Bute Council's aims and objectives for the Lochgilphead Front Green Regeneration– Works Contract Re-tender are to: - Improve the visual appearance of Lochgilphead Front Green; - Construct the revised design that will maximise the use of the Front Green for the benefit of the local community and visitors through improved walking, cycling and playing opportunities; - Construct the revised design to enable the Front Green to continue to act as a venue for community gatherings and events; - Provide additional seating areas and landscaping to encourage people to stay longer in Lochgilphead; - Enhance walking and cycling facilities to provide a safer environment for those travelling by these means. - Improve play facilities on Lochgilphead Front Green which will benefit the local community and encourage more visitors to stop in the town; - Improve the drainage of Lochgilphead Front Green
