Installation of a multi-sport portable wooden flooring system for installation in the existing Show Centre Hall space.

Tender description

The Virginia Show Centre is a not-for-profit multi-purpose facility designed to provide for the social and educational needs of the community through the provision of social infrastructure and facilities. The Centre serves a wide hinterland across East Cavan and beyond. The Show Centre wish to seek funding for the installation of a multi-sports wooden floor, which would be removable. This would allow the hall to be used year-round by a variety of sporting, cultural and social activities. the current floor is solid concrete and Internal dimensions measured on the ground are 41.5metres X 23.54metres wide with 4mX3.1m removed in the corner. This is a total internal floor area of 965 square metres. The tender will also require the painting of the floor to accommodate 6 sports and also a multi-sport scoreboard. N.B. - completion of this project is contingent on successful award of grant funding.
