South Staffs Water incorp. Cambridge Water (SSC) are committed to continuing to provide a high quality secure and reliable water to our customers now and in the future, in the most sustainable and affordable way, taking account of the environment and increased pressures on our resources. To meet the significant planning challenges, over the next 5 year investment period we have committed to environmental investigations and will also be producing revised water resources and drought management plans to demonstrate our plans for secure water supplies in our regions for the long term. We are seeking specialist consultancy support to work with us in delivering on these commitments. SSC have decided to implement a framework for the following 4 Lots: 1) demand forecasting and management options; 2) hydro-ecology investigations, options appraisal, cost benefit analyses and reporting; 3) business, drought and water resources management planning and 4) environmental monitoring and assessment. To meet the significant planning challenges, over the next 5 year investment period we have committed to environmental investigations and will also be producing revised water resources and drought management plans to demonstrate our plans for secure water supplies in our regions for the long term. We are seeking specialist consultancy support to work with us in delivering on these commitments. This Lot is for producing population and property models for our demand forecasts both household and non-household, and working on our demand management options. Supporting data requirements for leakage and per capita consumption calculations. SSC are committed to continuing to provide a high quality secure and reliable water to our customers now and in the future, in the most sustainable and affordable way, taking account of the environment and increased pressures on our resources. To meet the significant planning challenges, over the next 5 year investment period we have committed to environmental investigations and will also be producing revised water resources and drought management plans to demonstrate our plans for secure water supplies in our regions for the long term. We are seeking specialist consultancy support to work with us in delivering on these commitments. This Lot is for Undertaking modelling, investigations into flow impacts and ecological status to support WFD commitments including sustainable abstraction, and drought monitoring plans to support potential investigations, options appraisal, cost benefit analyses and reporting. This Lot is for Applying the relevant statutory guidance to supporting components in our statutory water resources management and drought plans, including: climate change assessment; 1 in 500 drought scenarios; stochastic methods of forecasting; and evaluating resource options (aligning with WRE, WRW, RAPID). SSC are committed to continuing to provide a high quality secure and reliable water to our customers now and in the future, in the most sustainable and affordable way, taking account of the environment and increased pressures on our resources. To meet the significant planning challenges, over the next 5 year investment period we have committed to environmental investigations and will also be producing revised water resources and drought management plans to demonstrate our plans for secure water supplies in our regions for the long term. We are seeking specialist consultancy support to work with us in delivering on these commitments. This Lot is for undertaking the statutory environmental screening, assessment and reporting as required for SEA, Habitats Directive and WFD. Support for Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) and NERC objectives.
