The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will provide a platform for suppliers to compete for Minor Civils Gas Works, including, but not limited to, Minor Gas Works, Temporary Works and Specialist Works. The scope of these works may include Design and Build or Build Only and can range from either one-off projects to small programmes of work. Cadent is a standalone Gas Distribution business that owns and operates four of the eight UK Gas Distribution Networks, covering the East of England (EoE) which includes both the East Midlands (EM) and East Anglia (EA), London (Lon), North West (NW) and the West Midlands (WM). Cadent is the largest Gas Distribution company in the UK with a revenue of circa GBP 2,115M per annum. Cadent relishes the role of providing an essential service that keeps the energy flowing to over 11 million homes, schools and businesses through a 131 000 - kilometre pipe network. This Periodic Indicative Notice (PIN) is to provide of advance notice of the launch of a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Minor Civils Gas Works; applications will remain open indefinitely. Each project will be issued via a call for competition from the DPS. The projected spend for the Minor Civils Gas Works is projected at 40 million pounds per annum.
