Validation of householder planning applications

Summary of the work To receive applications from the Council. To assess the applications and validate then return. If validation is not possible to advise the applicant and allow time for this missing information to be submitted. All applications to be returned the Council. Time scales to be agreed with the council Latest start date Wednesday 30 September 2020 Why the Work is Being Done To address a back log of applications Problem to Be Solved Back log of applications in need of validation which it outside the existing capacity of the organisation Who Are the Users The Council will supply the registered applications and will then need the validated and none validated applications returned for processing or return to the applicant Existing Team The Council has an existing team of Planners who will receive and process the applications once validated Current Phase Not applicable Skills & Experience • Experience of provding this service • Clients must be other local authorities Nice to Haves Provide evidnce of otyer planning services provided in Local Authority setting Work Location The work can be completed remotely Working Arrangments Access will be provide to the necessary elements of the Councils back office system (Uniform) No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 3 Proposal Criteria • technical ability • how the approach or solution meets user needs • how the approach or solution meets user needs Cultural Fit Criteria • work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers • take responsibility for their work Payment Approach Fixed price Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 75% Cultural fit 5% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers 1.
